I have a serious problem tossing and turning at night. Whether I just had a bad day, or I just can’t get comfortable, I hate not being able to get enough sleep. Sometimes it can take hours for me to go to sleep and the whole time I stress about it. When I heard about Savvy Sleepers I knew I had to have one and I could not wait to try one out!

So what is Savvy Sleepers? They sell extremely comfortable satin pillow cases. At first I thought that there was no way that a different pillow case could not only help me sleep, but that it could protects skin from wrinkles and keep your hair smooth. For some reason that concept had just not gotten through my head. When I got my new pillow case I could see how it could be more comfortable than my boring cotton case.

The first night I used Savvy Sleepers I could not believe how much more comfortable my pillow was! My husband had just bought new pillows and I was very upset with how stiff they seemed to be. I almost had him take them back because of how horrible they were! They were making my neck hurt and made my insomnia even worse. One of the reasons I love this time of year is that I get to break out my boots again! The rest of the year I am a flip flops girl, but I do LOVE my boots. When I found out I was getting to review a pair of Clog Boots from Sandgrens to say I was excited was an understatement!

When I got my boots it was like it was already Christmas. They had the boots wrapped up like a present and even had a little leather keychain in the shape of clogs. I knew they would be gorgeous from the pictures on Sandgrens website, but I did not realize how great they would be in person. You can tell they take the time to make every pair of boots perfect! The Philly boots are made with a Swedish Alder Wood Base that has a perfect medium height heel. They also feature Soft Horween Nubuc Leather that is extremely soft and very comfortable. I love smelly stuff! Sure I am not as obsessive as some I know, but if I find something that smells great and works great I have to have more! What I Thought

First up is a Sweet Pink Peppermint from their Holiday Bliss line. At first I was a little worried about smelling like a candy cane all day after using this fragrance, but was pleasantly surprised that it smelled amazing. Sweet Pink Peppermint is a cool pink candy cane mixed with cheery vanilla and sugary musk scent that is really sweet smelling and is not as overpowering as I thought. I think it is a great holiday scent that anyone that loves the holidays will adore! I know I did!

These next two fragrances are part of their Cupcake Couture line which is absolutely amazing! When I first heard of the Cupcake Couture line I knew I had to have it! Of course I love cupcakes and knew this line had to smell amazing. This first fragrance is the Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar scent. This scent as I’m sure you can imagine is creamy vanilla paired with sweet brown sugar and hints of almond. I love vanilla scented fragrances and the brown sugar added just makes this amazing!

Last, but certainly not least, is Dreamy Pink Frosting which happens to be my favorite! This one has the scent of a scrumptious champagne cupcake topped with pink frosting. It really does smell like a cupcake! I loved that this Fragrance Mist stayed on for a long time without needing to apply and is perfect for any occasion. Heck, who doesn’t want to smell like you just baked a batch of cupcakes? I just wish I could pull one of the cupcakes out of the bottle!

Of course all of these products are Sulfate and Paraben free which I love, but they also keep your skin soft and keep you smelling great! They have tons of great scents and even have some of the original products that our mothers used to love! I think these products make great gifts and are something that anyone would love to get!

Our family is pretty redneck. Of course we are not full on redneck with strange accents and we have all of our teeth, well most of us anyway. So when I saw Bullet Designs, I knew that they would make perfect gifts for our family. I was so excited when I heard I was getting to review some of their awesome products!

First I will start off with the Shotgun Christmas Multi-Color lights! I love these lights! They are very unique and very bright! They come with 20 clear shotgun shells on multicolored electric lights. They are great to put on a Christmas tree, or really anywhere! They are super fun and definitely a conversation starter! You can even get the lights on a string of 35 or even 100 lights if you special order them! Every time we tell someone in the family that we got these they are super jealous and ask, “wheres’s mine?.” We can’t wait to hang these in the house for the holidays!

Next up is their Men’s Stainless Steel and Brass Ring. Of course the hubby wanted nickel instead, so that’s what we got! At first, I think I was more excited then my husband was about it. That changed when we got it! He loves it and is extremely happy about all of the complements he gets!

What We Thought

I honestly could not believe how soft the ring was! Not only was it beautiful, but it fit him perfectly and he said it was the most comfortable ring he has worn. I will let you in on a little secret though! The main reason I contacted Bullet Designs is that my Hubby did not have a wedding ring. Of course he had one when we got married, but after a while he complained about it not being comfortable and one day he “lost” it. I love finding new recipes, especially when searching the web. Of course I could go look in an old fashion cook book, but I find the internet so much easier. So what if you could have the best of both worlds? This is why I was so excited to review the Key Ingredient Recipe Reader!

My parents run a Senior Care Home and I swear my dad is always cooking. While it is always nice to steal some food, I have noticed that there are always multiple cookbooks laying on the counters. I decided that he would be the best person to test out the recipe reader, so I gave it to him as an early Christmas present. Of course I did tinker around with it before I handed it over!

The Key Ingredient Recipe Reader is great because it can hold all of you favorite recipes and you can access them by touching the screen. You can also easily search through your favorites easily with the search bar. You can take these recipes and organize them, or you can even add them to your meal planner!

It is also spill proof. I cannot tell you how many times I have spilled food or worse on my phone or computer while trying to use a recipe! with this tablet you can wipe off spills with a washcloth and not worry about ruining your device. Of course you shouldn’t give it a bath, but spills are no match for this tablet! It also has a built in stand so that you can have it sit at the perfect angle so that you can see it while you cook.

This tablet has tons of great features just for cooks! There is a timer feature which has 3 separate timers. So you don’t have to rely on your oven timer to cook more than one thing. It also has a substitution list so if you don’t have a certain ingredient you can find something to put in place of it quickly and easily. It also has an easy to use converter that really helps while cooking. Especially if you need to change the recipe to fit your family size. I know we have to do this all the time and I never know how to divide the ingredients easily.

My dad loved using all the features, especially all the recipes! We only had a few things we didn’t love. One thing that bugged me more than him was that the tablet does not tell you when it’s charging. Most devices will at least have a little red light that turns on when it is plugged in. Of course this is just one of my pet peeves and he didn’t really care. The thing he didn’t like was that in order to add more recipes you have to either go on the computer or on your phone with their app, find what you like and sync it to the tablet. However, it does come pre-loaded with TONS of recipes and he hasn’t had the need to go online to find more.

We both really enjoyed this tablet and I think it looks a lot better on his counter than dozens of cookbooks. So I would say that it was a win-win. Especially since I clean their house and don’t know what to do with them all! I think this is a perfect gift for any cook that loves finding new recipes without destroying their phone or computer in the process.

I love getting a trying out makeup. I have been wanting to try out Rimmel London products for years! So when I finally got the okay to write a Rimmel London review I was more than Excited!

When I opened the box I was even happier! I got Rimmel London’s Extra Wow Lash and Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Paranoid Purple to review. I have been obsessing over any shadow sticks so I was stoked to try out the Rimmel London version! Especially since it was in purple!

As soon as I swatched the Shadow Stick I knew that I was in love. It is super creamy and very easy to use. It also is such a big stick that I am sure it will last forever! A lot of the shadow sticks I have tried fade away very quickly, but I was surprised to find that Rimmel’s stayed put for hours. Long enough to go to a party and have some still stuck to my eyes in the morning. They have 9 different shades that make it easy to create tons of great looks and they don’t take up much room in your makeup bag for touch ups.

Next is the Rimmel London Extra Wow Lash. It really is wow! I have been wearing a lot of false lashes because my lashes are still pretty short and when I wore this everyone still thought that I was wearing falsies. I was amazed that the mascara didn’t clump and covered my lashes perfectly. Another great thing about this mascara is that it is a lash building formula. So it is made to add multiple layers without clumping.

I loved these products! They both work amazingly and made my makeup routine simple. I was able to create a great look with these two products and some eye liner.

I really enjoy wearing this makeup and the shadow stick is now one of my favorite shadows! I highly recommend Rimmel London to anyone looking for great makeup at affordable prices!

It is so hard to find simple toys that not only give our kids great skills, but that are not overly expensive either! I can spend hours in a toy isle deciding if a toy is really worth the price and if it is even something my girls will play with. I was very excited to test out some great products from Patch Products.

I was able to snag two toys from their new toddle line Mirari and I knew my kids would love them! I received myPad and Pop! Pop! Piano to review for you.

The myPad is a play tablet with 20 light up pictures and 40 sounds and phrases. It is also easy for little ones to use because you press the arrows to activate the sounds. Not only does it make the noise on the image, but it can also tell your little one what the picture is. My girls had a lot of fun playing and discovering the different images on this tablet and it was great because they weren’t trying to steal mommies tablet anymore!

Next up is the Pop! Pop! Piano which is I personally love! Yes, it is one of those toys that makes noise when you hit the keys, but it is so much more than that! Obviously we are a little biased when it comes to stars, but I love that when you press a button the stars pop up and land somewhere else. To me this toy is more of a game than anything. My girls are constantly trying to get the stars to go into the hole that is the same color. Of course if they want more fun, you can take the clear arch off the top and let the starts pop everywhere and let your kids try to catch them. They definitely have a lot of fun with this toy!

So what makes these toys so unique? The Mirari toy line was meant to bring toys back to the basics. These toys are simple and help your children learn to use their imagination. They also help kids build motor skills and helps with cognitive learning as well as sensory and emotional development.

I highly recommend these toys to anyone looking to get their kids toys that not only are fun, but that help children learn at the same time.
