Oral-B Professional Precision 1000 Review and Giveaway

Who doesn’t want white teeth? I like to know that my toothbrush will work with me to keep my teeth healthy and white. I have been using electric toothbrushes for years. They make brushing your teeth so much easier, and they even clean better then your standard manual toothbrush.

One of my favorite Dental Care brands happens to be Oral-B and I have been using the same version of a different Oral-B electric toothbrush for years, so I was very excited to be able to try something new. While I loved my old toothbrush, it does not even compare to the new one. I received the Oral-B Professional Precision 1000 Electric Toothbrush as part of a review.

I love that this toothbrush can be recharged, and that it has replaceable brush heads. My current toothbrush does not offer either feature, and it is something that has been bugging me for a long time. Another feature that this toothbrush has is a built in timer, and will stop pulsing if you are brushing too hard. Which is great for me because I am always afraid of brushing my teeth too hard, and I have sensitive gums which start to bleed with vigorous brushing.

This toothbrush helps remove 97% of plaque in hard to reach areas, and not only helps prevent but helps reverse gingivitis.

After using my new toothbrush, my teeth feel clean, fresh, and I can tell the difference when I look at my teeth. The results I get with the Professional Precision 1000 are amazing! I highly recommend this toothbrush to anyone who brushes their teeth!

Revivia Labs and Giveaway

Sometimes I love to be able to just sit down and relax. One of the things I love to do when I need to relax is to take care of my skin. I have always had acne prone skin so I am always trying to find products that not only help reduce my acne, but also help my skin feel soft.

Reviva Labs has come up with a great product that not only helps reduce acne breakouts but also leaves your skin soft, and helps make you skin look amazing.

I love how thick the mask is, as soon as I put it on I could tell that it was going to do wonders for my skin. It didn’t smell horrible like a lot of masks I have used, it also didn’t burn my skin. The mask doesn’t dry and crack like most other masks do, so when its drying I can still move my mouth and not feel uncomfortable doing it.

You apply a thin coat of the mask, wait 20 minutes, and then rinse off with lukewarm water. I loved how easy it was to apply, and how great the results were!

The Problem Skin Mask ingredients are: Water, SD alcohol, 39c, zinc oxide, sulfur, camphor, sorbitol, carboxy methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, polysorbate 20, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, and citric acid.

ila Security Review- Dusk and Pebble

I am one of those people that constantly looks over their shoulders in fear of someone following me. Since having my girls that fear has become a lot worse. With the way people are nowadays, you can’t trust anyone let alone a random person walking next to you on the street. I’m always afraid that I’m going to end up like one of the helpless girls on the street and if anything happened I won’t be able to scream and no one will be able to hear me. I know, its stupid to be so paranoid all the time, but that’s just who I am.

Luckily for me and others like me ila Security came up with some devices to help put our mind at ease while we are out. I received two different products from ila that will be included in this post. One is the ila Dusk, and the other is the ila Pebble.

Above is the ila Dusk. It can be placed on just about anything you carry on you. Personally, I like to keep it on my purse so that it is always with me. Before you think this is just some fashion accessory, think again. When you pull the chain it lets out a ear-piercing 130Db female scream that will not only let everyone around know that something is wrong but it may also disable your attacker. They have different designs to match your own personal style and they change seasonally so that you can have one for every mood.

My favorite of the two products is the ila Pebble. It looks just like a regular keyring that might sound the alarm to your car, but it does so much more then that! This little thing is just like the Dusk but is less noticeable, and easier to carry with you because it attaches to your key chain! I love that i don’t have to stress about keeping my purse right next to me, and I don’t have to worry about someone wondering what it is.

One thing I have noticed is that I will sit there and fiddle with it and my mind automatically wants to pull it and make it go off. Which could be really bad depending on where I am, so I hope I never accidentally pull it.

Just to see how loud it was, and of course to see someones reaction to it, I pulled it at my dads house and watched him stare at the ceiling and look around trying to figure out what was going on. When I finally showed him what was making all the noise he was not too happy with me, but at least I got a couple laughs out of it.

I think that every girl should have one of ila’s products around. I know that when my girls get older they will definitely be getting one of these and I think they would make great gifts too.

Chalk City Review and Giveaway

As a kid I always loved playing hopscotch, and of course riding my bike in its own path like a car, but I always hated making the paths because I could never make them perfect. Not only that but by the time I was done making the path it was time to go back inside, by the next day I would have to start all over because the chalk that I had used had faded away.

With Chalk City’s Road Maker you could easily make roads or paths that are even, and you can make them fast! I love that it can fold it and that it has its own separate bag for easy storage. Another thing I love about it is that you can use any large sidewalk chalk, so if you run out of the chalk it comes with you can use other chalk while you wait for new chalk to come from Chalk City. It takes minutes to create a play area for your little ones, and its so simple that they can use it themselves.

Chalk City also has a variety of stencils to use with your Road Maker to create the perfect path. They have both the Road Sign Stencil set, and the Obstacle Course Stencil set. My favorite out of the two was the Obstacle Course Set, it had different activities that you could add to your path like jumping jacks, hop both feet, spin, or even hop on one foot. They are also very thick and durable.

We had a lot of fun playing outside with our Chalk City set. It was great for both the big kids and the little ones, and they could both play together. The chalk stayed in place which was great and they had a blast creating their little play areas. This is definitely a toy we will be playing with for summers to come. I definitely recommend Chalk city to anyone that has kids that love to play with chalk.

Monkey Balm Review

I recently received Monkey Balm to review for you guys. Personally, I have been using this product for any rashes on my babies, but it has so many different uses!

Monkey balm is made out of Sea buckthorn seed oil, Sea buckthorn fruit oil, Sea buckthorn puree, Castor seed oil, Jojoba seed oil, Cocoa butter, Vitamin E, Beeswax, and Squalene. The most important of these ingredients is the Buckthorn Oil, it is what gives the monkey balm its magical powers. Monkey balm is known to help with reducing of inflammation, soothing of discomfort from numerous skin conditions, helping to heal wounds and burns, promoting healing of acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis, hydration and moisturizing of the skin, and improvement of skin tone and texture.

My girls have very sensitive skin, so something that is made for sensitive skin, and that actually works is a must. I have tried so many rash ointments and creams that my head spins thinking about it. This is one of the only products that will actually get rid of a rash without being greasy or without smelling horrible.

Whisper Phone Review

Lately my little girl has been obsessed with phones. She absolutely loves to talk! I have been trying to help her with her speech so that not only will I be able to understand her better, but so that she will know if she is saying things right as well. I was very excited when I found WhisperPhone! Not only is it a new toy for my girls, but it also will help them read, and it will also help them with their speech!

This is the WhisperPhone Element. It is a hand held device that looks like a phone, and it makes it to where you can hear your own voice while reading or talking. My little ones love running around with these!

The WhisperPhone Solo is just like the Element and helps your child hear themselves when they talk. The cool thing about the Solo is that it is hands free, it sits on your child’s head like a pair of headphones, or like the headsets we use. My oldest brings hers up to me everyday to wear it.

Our favorite is the WhisperPhone Duet. It’s great because both of my girls can talk to each other and hear themselves at the same time. They remind me of the old cup and straw trick, where you place string on the end of two cups and you could talk to each other. But these actually work, and don’t involve an arts and crafts mess.

I love that these products can be used as toys but also help my children learn. As a child I had a lot of problems with speaking clearly, so as a mommy I want to make sure that they have every resource that wasn’t available to me when I was younger. Already my 2 year old is starting to speak more clearly, and starting to talk more because she knows that she is saying the words correctly. I highly recommend this to anyone that has kids that are either learning to speak or learning to read. The WhisperPhone products definitely put my mind at ease about my children having speech problems. I am so happy to have ours!

SafetyTat Review and Giveaway

I can’t tell you how terrified I am of loosing one of my girls in a crowd. Not only that but if they do somehow get lost, how would they be able to reach me? They are too young to remember my full name or what city we live in, let alone what my phone number is. So if we did get separated I am afraid they would never find their way back to me. I was so glad when I found SafetyTat!

I received a pack of SafetyTat’s write-on child ID tattoos. They are great because you can write your phone number and other information on them and put them on your children so that if they do get lost someone knows how to contact you. I like these the most out of the SafetyTat tattoos because if someone is watching my girls we can write their phone number on them as well. I love that they come in designs that my girls will love, but that they also serve a purpose.

You don’t even need water to apply the SafetyTat’s! They are like a sticker. You peel them off, stick them on, and they last up to 2 weeks so you don’t have to worry about them falling off or not going on all the way because your child won’t sit still long enough to apply. They may be opaque but they are very bright so you can see them on any skin color. SafetyTat tattoos are Hypoallergenic, latex-free, soy-free and nut-free so you don’t have to worry about your children being allergic to them which is great to know.

Snap-ez Review

It’s so hard to potty train your little one. Most of us switch to pull-ups or something similar, but with any disposable diaper your child will feel wet even if they are not. My daughter has gotten to the point that she will take her diaper off and will end up going potty on the floor because she had no idea that she had not used her diaper, and that it was just moisture.

One way to stop this is cloth training pants. Sure they are not disposable, but they can help get your child where you want them to be faster and your child will feel like a true big kid. I was able to get some Snap-Ez training pants to review for you guys.

I love how simple they are, and how the fabric has a liner that will keep any liquid from leaking out. They have many different colors, so you can have one to match every outfit. Snap-EZ is run by a mother of 12 in her home. I love how family oriented this business is, I wish more companies were like that!

One thing I did not like was how they do the sizing on the website. They were very confusing, and even with their size chart I ordered the wrong size, which is my own fault. But I think that if they showed either diaper sizes, or even age sizes it would have been a lot easier to order the correct size.
